LAHORE: Construction work on 100-bed modern hospital in Manawan is making rapid progress and its completion will result in provision of diagnostic and quality medical facilities to the public, said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Progress review: Punjab to replicate Turkish health care model

While presiding over a meeting on Saturday, he said that improvement in healthcare facilities was a top priority of the government.

The chief minister said that the hospital would be a great institution with regard to its construction, healthcare facilities and provision of services. He added that best doctors, nurses and paramedical staff would be appointed at the hospital.

Approval Accorded: Shahbaz greenlights Rs550b projects 

MNA Sohail Shaukat Butt and MPA Rana Tajamal Hussain said the hospital was the best gift of the Punjab government for the people as construction of this hospital has resolved a 70-year old problem.

Shehbaz said the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh was providing quality treatment facilities to the people and the Punjab government was working on a mega project of expansion of this hospital.
