SHO City Muhammad Sabir said that TSH leader Kiyani was on his way to Haripur from Khanpur in his car. When he reached near Nehr Stop in Noor Colony the road was blocked due to construction work of a small bridge on the canal. The cause of traffic jam was a tractor trolley.

Kiyani told his guards to tell the tractor driver to back up. However, the tractor driver, Yousuf, refused and the security guards opened fire injuring him and two other people, Waqas and Bilawal.
