Another man loses life as young doctors continue strike in Lahore
YDA doctors suspend all services to protest against the anti-corruption department’s attempt to arrest Dr Atif

As the Lahore's Services Hospital doctors continued their strike on the second consecutive day on Wednesday, a patient brought to the emergency ward breathed his last after being denied treatment.
According to preliminary reports, Muhammad Hussain was taken to the hospital in a critical condition. Since the Young Doctors Association (YDA) had suspended all medical services to protest against the anti-corruption department’s attempt to arrest its vice-president Dr Atif, Hussain lost his life helplessly.
Junior doctors force hospital shutdown after raid
Following the incident, relatives of the deceased staged a protest at Jail Road, chanting slogans against doctors and the hospital administration. They also demanded to register a case against the doctors.
Dr Atif, who is accused of creating law and order situation, was not reachable despite several attempts.
