Muqam was speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday.
The adviser to the PM said that apart from extending the timeframe for military courts steps must be taken to strengthen civil courts as well.

He said that the architect behind the recent wave of terror attacks was the Indian regime via Afghanistan.
“The enemy could not digest the country’s development in the shape of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) but since [militancy] was an issue of the country’s future, it will be rooted out,” he said. He added that the India was afraid of the rising economy, foreign exchange and developmental works in Pakistan.
The premier’s adviser said that as terrorism is a national issue, citizens must report any suspicious activities or individuals to the law enforcement agencies.

“They [militants] are not paratroopers but are being facilitated within the country,” said Muqam.
He implored citizens to report such activities so that the lives of innocent people could be saved from the nefarious designs of terrorists.
