
Earnings per share (EPS) remained at Rs2.79 compared with Rs2.84 in the period under review. The company in the first six months (Jul-Dec) 2016-17 earned a net profit of Rs2.69 billion, up 15% compared with Rs2.34 billion in the same period last year.
The company’s price closed at Rs128.59, down 0.25% from its last day’s closing price while KSE-100 index closed at 49,588, up 374 points or 0.76% on Thursday.
