Neurosciences institute nearing completion
Punjab Specialised Health and Medical Education Department allocats Rs1 billion for the 2016-17 fiscal year

The Punjab Institute of Neurosciences (PINS) would be completed during the current fiscal year, said Lahore General Hospital’s Postgraduate Medical Institute Principal Prof Ghiyasunnabi Tayyab during a meeting held to review the development works at the Lahore General Hospital on Thursday.
Punjab Specialised Health and Medical Education Department has allocated an amount of Rs1 billion for the 2016-17 fiscal year and no lethargy or negligence in connection with completion of the scheme would be tolerated.
LGH Medical Superintendent Dr Ghulam Sabir and other administrative doctors attended the meeting. The principal said all the neuro-related wards have been shifted to newly constructed Punjab Institute of Neurosciences.
“PINS will become the best institute of neuro-related complications in the region,” he said.
