ISLAMABAD:
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Tuesday took notice of illegal organ trade in the capital and has sought a report from DIG Islamabad in the case.

News reports had claimed that a labourer from Sheikhupura had come to Islamabad looking for work. He met two people in the capital who took him to a local private hospital. There, he was offered a cup of tea, allegedly laced with drugs, which made him unconscious.

He was then operated on and one of his kidneys was allegedly removed without seeking consent. Taking notice of the issue, the Justice Nisar ordered the deputy inspector general of Islamabad police to submit a report on the matter within three days.
