ISLAMABAD:

After turning three, Gallery 6 has ventured out at making art fun for its clients. Bringing over 400 diverse pieces together for an exhibit, Arjumand Feisal hosted a one-day Art Bazaar here at Gallery 6 on Monday. Housing works of emerging and senior artists alike, the art pieces included a wide array of paintings, miniatures, drawings, prints, film art, sculptures and carvings.

The paintings and prints, including photo realistic works, figurative work, landscapes, works in expressionism and abstracts, all deal with either aesthetics or various personal and social issues. Media employed for the work included in the exhibition varies from water colours, oils, acrylics, pastels, pen and ink, printing ink, digital prints, giclee prints, and mixed prints integrating wood, metal, bronze and other materials.

An interesting feature of the Art Bazaar was the flexibility of price ranges available, starting from Rs1,000 and weaving its way up to almost Rs200,000. From minimalistic modern art to cinema billboards, the event had something for everyone’s taste and style. It was indeed an art fair for everyone.
