Busted: ASF arrests three heroin smugglers
All the three accused were taken into custody by the ASF and ANF officials for further investigations
MULTAN:
The Customs and Airport Security Force (ASF) officials arrested three passengers from Multan International Airport and seized two kilogrammes of heroin.
The ASF and customs officials, led by Customs Assistant Collector Muhammad Akram arrested Nadeem Akram and his wife Zunaira Nadeem and confiscated two kilogrammes of heroin that was hidden in their shoes.
They were scheduled to board an Air Arabia flight G-9-542. Both were residents of Rahim Yar Khan and according to documents they were going to Saudi Arabia to perform Umra. During investigation, they told officials that one of their accomplices, Muhammad Arshad, from Bahawalpur had already boarded the plane.
On the information, Arshad was off-loaded from the plane and 400 grammes of Ice (refined form of heroin) was seized from his possession. All the three accused were taken into custody by the ASF and ANF officials for further investigations.
