Expressing satisfaction on operational gains, development work and measures for better border security management, Gen Bajwa directed to continue focusing on stability operations and socio-economic development for enduring peace in the area.
The statement coincides with the continuing conflict regarding Fata reforms. While some parties including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) favour its merger in the K-P, others want the region to remain independent.
