Basic services: Rs1.56b allocated for development projects in DG Khan

He said every constituency would get its own separate funds which would be spent on establishment of new schools

DERA GHAZI KHAN: DG Khan Commissioner Muhammad Yasrib has said Rs1.56 billion have been allocated for development projects in water, gas, electricity, social and municipal infrastructure sectors in the city.

While chairing a meeting on Saturday, the commissioner said the federal and the provincial governments have jointly provided Rs1.56 billion for water, gas, electricity, social and municipal infrastructure sectors. He said every constituency would get its own separate funds which would be spent on establishment of new schools, upgrading educational and health institutes, water supply, and new routes providing easy access to access markets. He said prime minister’s sustainable development goals aims at repairing, revamping and upgrading the development schemes.

MPAs Sardar Khan Muhammad Jatoi, Hammad Nawaz Tipu, Zeeshan Khan Gorman, Muzaffar Garh Deputy Commissioner Saif Anwar and other officials were preset on the meeting.
