Momentum is Pakistan’s biggest start-up conference and women are the country’s largest untapped resource

News Desk February 09, 2017

Circle Pakistan supported #Momentum17, a start-up conference and exhibition space, by curating a Women Start-Up Hub and bringing together women entrepreneurs to network with investors, funders, incubators, academia and others in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The two-day conference ended on February 7. The keynote speech was given by Punjab Information Technology Board chairperson Dr Umar Saif. The programme also included pitches by start-ups from all over Pakistan. Momentum is Pakistan’s biggest start-up conference and women are the country’s largest untapped resource, said Asif Jafri and Amir Jafri, the brothers who initiated this effort. We want to facilitate Pakistan’s progress through entrepreneurship and are delighted to support CIRCLE in their mission of women’s empowerment.
