ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday said Pakistan and Afghanistan should keep a close eye on negative elements that fuel tension and sow discord between the two states. Addressing a ceremony of Higher Education Commission’s project, Award of 3000 Scholarships for Afghanistan, the president said Pakistan had complete confidence in the wisdom of the Afghan leadership and believed that they will play an important role in the journey towards progress and prosperity in the region, by thwarting internal and external conspiracies.
