Combating Crime: Police conduct 48-hour drive  

He has also directed the police to treat citizens with utmost respect during the campaign

QUETTA: In a 48-hour campaign against crime, police succeeded in nabbing six wanted suspects, two dozen nominated suspects and another 200 suspects, Deputy Inspector General of Police Abdul Razzaq Cheema said on Saturday. Police also seized huge quantities of hashish from certain vehicles that were taken into custody along with the suspects. The DIG urged the masses to cooperate with the police during its crackdown against criminals and unregistered vehicles, so that they could be protected from any inconvenience. He has also directed the police to treat citizens with utmost respect during the campaign. He added that if there was a violation of the set code of conduct then strict action would be taken against the personnel involved.
