Boy raped: Two days on, police yet to make headway
The accused threatened the boy with dire consequences if he told anyone
HARIPUR:
Despite the passage of two days, police have not made any headway in apprehending the men who allegedly raped a teenage boy in Haripur.
According to police, 13-year-old K*, a resident of Dheri Sikandarpur village, was returning home from the local market two days ago when two men, C* and M*, stopped him.
They then allegedly dragged him off to a deserted house, where they raped him at gunpoint.
The accused threatened the boy with dire consequences if he told anyone, and then fled.
Six-year-old victim: Police still clueless in minor’s rape case
The distraught boy, however, informed his family about his ordeal after returning home.
Alarmed, his parents took him to the City Police Station to lodge a complaint.
Officials there, after listening to K’s testimony, told them to take the boy to the hospital for a medical examination. After a medical examination confirmed the offence, police registered a criminal case against the two suspects.
