Appointment: Mufti Munib joins Modaraba board

KARACHI: The federal government has appointed religious scholar Professor Mufti Munibur Rehman as a member of the Religious Board for Modarabas (Islamic financial institutions) with immediate effect, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan announced on Friday.

The position had fallen vacant after resignation of Imran Ahsan Nyazee.
