Three persons, including a CIA incharge, were gunned down and two others were injured in an attack on a police mobile by armed assailants in Dera Murad Jamali.
According to reports, men on motorbikes opened indiscriminate fire on the police personnel at the WAPDA Road of Dera Murad Jamali.
Dera Allah Yar CIA wing incharge Hafiz Hidatullah Kolachi, his cousin and a private gunman Sobedar Khan lost their lives on the spot. Two others, identified as Abdul Samad and Shaman Ali, were also critically injured in the attack.
The dead and the injured were shifted to the civil hospital. The injured after being given basic medical aid were shifted to Larkana because of their critical injuries.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Khan Zehri strongly condemned the attack on the police mobile and sought a report of the incident. He also directed inspector general police and home secretary to use all resources to arrest the assailants.
He has also ordered Chief Secretary Balochistan Saifullah Chatta, IG police and home secretary to go to Naseerabad and supervise the operation against the killers.
Meanwhile, four persons, including a woman, were gunned down in separate incidents across Balochistan on Saturday.
The Levies Force officials said unidentified men opened indiscriminate fire and killed a woman and a man in the Khatan area of Dhadar.
