HEC extends deadline for scholarships

Applicants can submit an online application on the HEC website till Feb 15

ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Saturday announced that it was extending a deadline for submitting applications for scholarships to the indigenous PhD programme.

According to an official of the HEC on Saturday, hopefuls can now submit their applications till February 15. Applicants can submit an online application on the HEC website while hard copies and other documents are not required at this stage. Under the scheme, applications have been invited from all over Pakistan in fields such as social sciences, arts and humanities, engineering, information technology, management sciences, agriculture and veterinary sciences, biological sciences, medical sciences and physical sciences.
