Government has rolled back the plan after initially approving Rs800 million for the project

HYDERABAD: Some senior citizens of Hyderabad have requested Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to approve the establishment of Mehran Institute of Heart and Chest Diseases at Civil Hospital, Hyderabad. At a press conference on Wednesday, they deplored that the government has rolled back the plan after initially approving Rs800 million for the project and deciding to table a bill in the Sindh Assembly. Former justice (retd) Gul Moeen Shah, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry vice-president Turab Ali Khwaja and other citizens addressed the press conference.
