Clean environment: G-B campaign to fight pollution
These teams visited different tourism spots in collaboration with citizens

A cleanliness awareness campaign has been launched by the Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) tourism department in various parts of the region. According to G-B tourism department officials, the campaign was started with the aim to create awareness among the domestic tourists regarding the importance of cleanliness for visitors travelling to G-B from across the country. Volunteer teams comprising of students from schools and colleges were a part of the campaign. These teams visited different tourism spots in collaboration with citizens.
