Punjab government was giving priority to promoting sports activities

RAWALPINDI: A cricket coaching academy is to be established in Rawalpindi at Waqarunnisa Postgraduate College for Women, Sports Board Chairman Hanif Abbasi said here on Tuesday. “All planning in this regard has been finalised,” he said in a media briefing. The Punjab government was giving priority to promoting sports activities for women in the garrison city, he added.
