Census: Sargodha division divided into 1,037 circles

SARGODHA: Sargodha division has been divided into 1,037 circles and 6,686 blocks for conducting the census. At least 3,842 Pakistan Army personnel will perform duties across the division.  This was said by an official of the statistics department on Friday. As part of the plan, the census process will commence in four districts -- Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali and Bhakkar from March 15 and will continue till March 30. The statistic department has appointed Assistant Commissioner Census Muhammad Rafique to supervise the process while 1,294 supervisory staff would also be included across the division. A total 2,174 staffers and 33,332 data entry officials will perform their duties in Sargodha district.

Similarly, 305 supervisory staff will be deployed in Bhakkar district. Mianwali district has been divided into 197 circles where 1,384 data operators would perform duties.
