Man strangled to death

A man was strangled to death in Sargodha on Thursday. The police said farmer Muhammad Aslam Malah, a resident of Riaz Colony, had an argument with his neighbour Nawaz Minhas over a petty issue.

In a bid to take revenge, Nawaz strangled Aslam to death when he was working at his farmhouse.


Meanwhile, the police claimed to have arrested five suspects and seized narcotics from their possession. The suspects were identified as Zaigham Hussain, Suhail and Zahoor Ahmad. In another raid, the Kotmomin police caught two car lifters Muhammad Akhtar and Muhammad Tariq and recovered a stolen vehicle.
