
The counsel for Steel Mills, Fakhurdin G. Ibrahim, told the court that the report would determine who is responsible for bringing losses to the mills.
He also said that the criminal cases have already been filed against the alleged.
The had counsel requested a three month period to submit the report, but the court turned down the request and ordered that the report should be submitted within a month.
The Secretary of Industries informed the court that the losses of the mills have been reduced significantly.
He added that in 2008, the losses stood at Rs26.5 billion, which came down to Rs11 billion last year.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan also remarked that the losses of the mills were in billions, but the authorities recovered only five million rupees.
