Karachi circular railway: Chinese delegation keen on investment

He also appraised the delegation of the details regarding the KCR project

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Transport Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Tuesday said that Chinese investors were showing a great deal of interest in the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project. He was talking to a Chinese delegation in his office here. Shah was of the view that such offers for investment were encouraging and augurs well for the economy. “This also speaks of the investors’ confidence in the government’s measures,” said Shah. He also appraised the delegation of the details regarding the KCR project. The minister said that the KCR has been included in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) which is very good news for people.  He also lauded the Chinese delegation’s interest in the KCR and offer for investment; he informed the delegation that Sindh was an attractive destination for investment.
