ISLAMABAD: The establishment of Islamabad High Court (IHC) was challenged in the Supreme Court (SC) in Islamabad on Thursday.
The petition was filed in the Supreme Court's Lahore Registry by Advocate Tariq Aziz.
The petition stated that a high court can not be established for every city, adding that it was established only to further personal interests.
Earlier, the government had issued a formal notification for reviving the Islamabad High Court.
