Lack of response: Senate panel to move privilege motion against CDA chief
CDA had to respond to the house within two months of the adoption of the report
ISLAMABAD:
The Senate standing committee on National Food, Security and Health expressed his reservations on lack of response of the CDA on the report adopted by Senate on the illegal lease of land in Islamabad on 16 November, 2015.
He further added that according to rules, CDA had to respond to the house within two months of the adoption of the report, which it had still not done. Consequently the committee decided to consider the snub a breach of privilege of the house and move a privilege motion against CDA Chairman and Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz.
