SC summons law secretary, NAB chief tomorrow

The Supreme Court (SC) directed the law secretary, interior secretary and the NAB chairman to show up in the court along with their records regarding implementation of the NRO verdict on Thursday.
The five member bench headed by Justice Nasirul Malik adjourned the hearing of NRO implementation case till tomorrow (Friday).
During the hearing, when asked why Law Secretary Aqil Mirza has not appeared in the court as directed by the bench, Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq said that he has resigned from his office.
On this, the bench observed that as the law secretary's resignation has yet to be accepted, therefore, he must have submitted his written reply.
Meanwhile, the court put on hold the hearing of Ahmed Riaz Sheikh's promotion case, observing that it will take up the case after the implementation of NRO verdict.
