Polio Eradication: Action ordered against negligent officials

Lady health workers found to be negligent in their duties as well as the officers

HYDERABAD: With eight polio cases surfacing in Sindh in 2016, officials overseeing the polio eradication campaign have called for measures to address weak areas of the immunisation drives. MNA Azra Fazal Pechuho chaired a meeting in Hyderabad on Saturday and instructed them to take action against lady health workers (LHWs) found to be negligent in their duties as well as the officers who avoid action against LHWs.
