Nurses honoured at Poly Clinic
ISLAMABAD:
A ceremony was held at the Poly Clinic Hospital auditorium on Wednesday to commemorate International Nurses Day.
Naseem Moeen, nursing superintendent, and other nurses highlighted the problems they face while working. They said their salaries should be increased and they should be provided more facilities and security. Dr Shaukat Hameed Kiyani, Executive Director Poly Clinic, appreciated the hard work of the nurses and said they play an important role in patients’ recovery.
Kiyani assured the nurses that all efforts will be made to acknowledge their services, and a better working environment and incentives will be provided to them. Dr Kiyani was the chief guest at the occasion and doctors and paramedic staff attended as well, said Dr Sharif Astori, hospital spokesman.
