Child’s hands amputated: Family protests WAPDA ‘negligence’
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors had to amputate his hands

The protestors chanted slogans against the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) and the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) for their negligence. Two-and-a-half-year-old Asar sustained burn injuries on Wednesday when playing on his rooftop when a live electric wire fell on him. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors had to amputate his hands.
