Man kills son, injures daughter, wife before suicide

LAHORE:

A man allegedly shot dead his teenage son and injured his wife and daughter before taking his own life in Defence Phase 3.

According to officials, 42-year-old Sarfraz opened fire on his family following a domestic altercation.

As a result, his 18-year-old son Abdullah died on the spot, while his 38-year-old wife Shehnaz and 17-year-old daughter Fatima were injured.

Police said that after the shooting, the suspect turned the gun on himself and died.

Rescue teams shifted the injured to a hospital for treatment, while the bodies were moved to a morgue for post-mortem examination.

Law enforcement personnel reached the scene shortly after the incident, collected evidence and launched an investigation from multiple angles.

Initial findings suggest that the incident occurred due to domestic tensions.
