LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has termed 2016 the ‘Year of Exposé’ when the corruption of the rulers was unveiled in front of the whole world.

On Saturday, PTI Punjab President Abdul Aleem Khan said the rulers made new records of telling lies and deceiving the public
in 2016.

They made false promises of reducing electricity and gas outages and ending unemployment this year, but in fact these problems had aggravated in the outgoing year. “The rulers have pushed the country into heavy foreign debts whereas prices of essential commodities have skyrocketed and broken the back of a common man,” he added.

Around 25 million children were still out of school, which proves the claims of good governance, the PTI leader said.
