Discussing their annual recommendations for 2011, PMA honorary president Prof Tipu Sultan said on Friday that they want a prevention-oriented health policy.
The under-five mortality rate is 95.2 deaths per 1,000 children while for neonates the rate is 65 per 1,000. Most of these deaths take place because of a lack of drinking water and sanitation facilities, said Sultan.
