Adulteration: 2,400 kilos fake tea leaves seized  

Special taskforce has launched a crackdown against factories involved in forging and fake production of edibles

MULTAN: The District Task Force for Food confiscated 2,400 kilogrammes of fake tea leaves from a factory on Sunday. In-charge of the District Task Force for Food Kashif Dogar along with Chief Food Inspector Naeem Changezi took police to the factory, arrested two suspects and also sealed the factory. Kashif said the District Government Multan has constituted a special taskforce to launch a crackdown against factories involved in forging and fake production of edibles. He added a strict legal action would be taken against the responsible people who were playing with the lives of innocent citizens.
