Foolproof security arrangements would be taken at all churches

Bahawalpur Assistant Commissioner Rao Tasleem Akhter has said the provincial government has made comprehensive arrangements to provide maximum facilities to the Christian community on the eve of Christmas.

He said this while presiding over a meeting to finalise the arrangements of holding Christmas Bazaar on the eve of Christmas in the district on Tuesday.
He said, “Christmas Bazaar would be established from December 22 to 24 at Bahawalpur Church Model Town ‘A’ where all essential items, including kitchen utensils, sweets, shoes, garments, vegetables, fruits, poultry, mutton and beef would be available at concessionary rates to the Christian community.”
Christmas preparations: Foolproof security ordered
He said foolproof security arrangements would be taken at all churches and a special plan for smooth running of traffic would also be devised on the occasion.
The assistant commissioner maintained children less than 10 years of age would be allowed free entry in zoo on December 25.
