Official visit: Corps commander visits Rangers HQ

KARACHI: The confidence of people in Karachi in law enforcement agencies is reflective of the brilliant performance of Rangers in the city, said the newly appointed Karachi Corps Commander Lieutenant-General Shahid Baig Mirza. He was addressing Rangers personnel during his first visit to the Rangers Headquarters on Tuesday after taking charge as Karachi Corps Commander. Upon his arrival, Lt-Gen Mirza was greeted by Rangers director-general Muhammad Saeed. The two discussed the ongoing Karachi operation and the overall security situation in the metropolis. The Karachi Corps Commander and Rangers DG vowed to expedite the Karachi operation. While addressing the Rangers personnel, Lt-Gen Mirza said that peace in Karachi is the result of sacrifices of the Rangers and people of the city.
