Dha blast: Three cylinder blast victims succumb to injuries
Explosion occurred when the cylinder was being repaired at the apartment

Three out of five people injured in a cylinder explosion in an apartment in Badar Commercial, in DHA’s Phase V area earlier this week succumbed to their wounds on Friday.
Sheela, Harish and Radha died during treatment at Patel Hospital in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, said Darakshan police station SHO Ahsan Zulfiqar. The SHO added that they suffered serious injuries during the fire. According to him, the explosion occurred when the cylinder was being repaired at the apartment.
An official of the Patel Hospital, Amar Ijaz, said that Sheela died on Thursday, while the two others died on Friday. He said that the condition of the patients was quite serious when they were admitted in the hospital. “All three of them had more than 60% burn injuries,” he explained. Ijaz added that another patient who was injured in the incident was also in a critical condition and he was put on a ventilator, as doctors struggled to save his life.
