Firing incident: Bank official shot dead
He was immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment
KARACHI:
A 56-year-old bank official was shot dead in District Central, within the limits of Sharae Noor Jahan police, on Wednesday.
Aijaz Aslam, son of Muhammad Aslam Khan, was critically wounded when he was shot by armed motorcyclists outside his residence in Shadman Town. He was immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Inquiry officer Muhammad Javed said Aslam was the assistant vice-president of Allied Bank Limited's Bahadurabad branch. Quoting the victim's son, the officer said that Aslam had no enmity with anyone and was not affiliated with any religious or political parties.
