MULTAN: A large number of farmers in Mahni area district, protested on Sunday against the Qatari royal family for damaging their crops while hunting for houbara bustards. They ended the protest after successful negotiations with the district administration. They demanded the Qatari prince pay for the losses inflicted to their fields, saying the hunters had ruined the crops of farmers whose sole source of earning livelihood is agriculture.
