Confident of victory: PPP chief believes 2017 will be year of elections

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari believes 2017 will be the election year. He said this while addressing a news conference in the city on Wednesday.

He also believes his party will form a government not only in the Centre, but also in all four provinces of the country after the next elections.

The party chairperson said he will move to Lahore to become a permanent resident for the sake of accountability of rulers. About his party, he said they had never been given an equal playing field. “The whole system of the country is rigged against PPP,” he said.

He also criticised the judicial system of the country, saying the partial judiciary of the country had declared his grandfather Zulfikar Ali Bhutto a murderer and got him hanged. He spoke about terrorism, saying if the government did not take the necessary steps, he will take the lead and work with other parties to root it out.
