Lt Gen Shahid Mirza posted as Corps Commander Karachi

Replaces Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar

Days after the appointment of the new army chief, Lt Gen Shahid Baig Mirza has been posted as the new Corps Commander Karachi, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

Lt General Mirza, who was previously posted as Military Secretary at the General Headquarters Rawalpindi, has replaced Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar.



Meanwhile, the post left vacant by Lt Gen Mirza will be taken over by Lt Gen Ghayur Mehmood, who served as the Chief of Logistic Staff at GHQ.
