CDA and IMC had organised the show in collaboration with IHS
ISLAMABAD:
A large number of people flocked to the Rose and Jasmine Garden on Friday to see the spectrum of colours of multiple varieties of chrysanthemums on display as part of the Autumn Flowers Show 2016.
Several types of chrysanthemums have been put on display in the show including intermediates, incurred, reflex, sprays, anemone, pompons, Korean hybrid, single floor and spidery flower. They were arranged in mound, stall and rainbow arrangements at the show.
“Flowers are a special gift of nature and require meticulous curation to preserve this gift,” said Islamabad Deputy Mayor Zeshan Ali Naqvi while inaugurating the event.
He added that the CDA and IMC had organised the show in collaboration with IHS.
