Fahad murder: Court reserves verdict on case transfer
Judge Zaidi extended the remand of the suspects and reserved the verdict on the applications till December 9
ISLAMABAD:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday reserved its verdict on applications which have asked the court to remove Section-VII of the Anti-Terrorism Act from the Fahad murder case and instead transfer it to a sessions court.
ATC Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi reserved judgment after arguments were concluded.
The counsel for the suspects claimed that no fear and insecurity had been spread in society by the incident. Siddiqui alleged that the complainant had used his influence to add ATA Section-VII to the case.
Following the arguments, Judge Zaidi extended the remand of the suspects and reserved the verdict on the applications till December 9.
