QUETTA: Lawyers in Quetta boycotted court proceedings on Monday to protest against the abduction of two judges and three lawyers.

Session Judge Sibi Jan Muhammad Gohar and Senior Civil Judge Muhammad Ali were kidnapped a day earlier when they were on their way from Usta Muhammad to Sibi, while three lawyers were kidnapped last week from the Sibi in Balochistan.

The lawyers vowed to continue demonstrations every day, until the safe return of their colleagues.

Meanwhile, the district administration of Jaffarabad has begun search operations and has arrested over a dozen people suspected of aiding the kidnappers.
