KARACHI:
The Sindh inspector general of police, Allah Dino Khawaja, directed on Sunday police officers to ensure foolproof security arrangements for the by-election in the National Assembly’s NA-258 constituency in Karachi, which is to be held today (Monday).
Additional police personnel will be deployed at all the polling stations, said a police official. Khawaja further instructed that the process of sweeping, clearance, random checking, patrolling and picketing inside and around the polling stations should also be ensured.
