Park Enclave-I: CDA to hand over remaining plots by next week
Mayor urges speedy development of housing projects
ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has yet to hand over possession of 40 percent of plots to allottees in the Park Enclave-1 housing scheme.
Park Enclave-1 was announced by 2011 by CDA and is located at the intersection of Park Road and Kuri Road – approximately nine kilometres from Islamabad Club. The project was supposed to be completed by December 2012 but kept getting delayed. In 2011, the authority sold some 613 residential plots at Park EnclavePhase-I, while in 2014, another 100 plots in the same phase were sold through open balloting.
Islamabad Mayor and CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz on Thursday visited the Park-Enclave Housing Scheme and directed CDA officials to complete the process of giving possessions to allottees in the least possible time. He was apprised that 400 allottees had been given possession of their plots, while the remaining 300 allottees would be given possession in the next week.
Phase-II
Mayor Aziz directed that effective measures be taken for initiation of development work in Kuri Model Village and other delayed development projects.
He urged the formations to formulate a plan in consultation with elected local representatives of the area under which the problems of affected local residents could be resolved in a
proper manner.
