Wheat surplus in the country: Gondal
ISLAMABAD:
Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture Nazar Mohammad Gondal on Tuesday informed the National Assembly that total cultivation of wheat in the country stands at 23.86 million tones.
"We have surplus wheat and additional wheat would be exported", he said during a session in the lower house. Gondal also vowed to redress issues being faced by farmers in the country.
He also said the government is working on different projects with collaboration of United Sates of America and China to improve Pakistan's wheat cultivation.
