Authorities on Friday opened roads leading to and from Karachi's business hub II Chundrigar Road for traffic after a brief closure following security threats at the State Life Insurance Corporation building, Express News reported.
According to reports, the State Life Insurance Corporation building located on Karachi's Dr Ziauddin Ahmed Road was evacuated following a bomb threat. The corporation received a phone call warning there was a bomb placed in the building.
Roads leading to Sindh CM House blocked amid security fears
The evacuation clogged traffic on II Chundrigar Road and authorities cordoned of the area till security searched the building. However, once security clearance was received, authorities resumed the flow of traffic.
