November 30: Income tax returns date extended

The new date for filing the returns will be November 30

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday extended the date of filing of returns of income tax by 15 days. The new date for filing the returns will be November 30. According to a notification of FBR, filing of returns of income and statement of final taxation was earlier due on August, 31 which was first extended up to September 30, 2016, then it was extended to October 31 and for third time the FBR extended the date to November 15.

Rahat Ali | 7 years ago | Reply Tax payers have lost trust in FBR that is the reason that even after granting 3 extensions only about 6,75,000 income tax returns have been filed out of expected 12,00,000 returns.
